Service Description

This newborn session focuses on authentic family connection, natural interactions -lots of cuddling & snuggling, to capture beautiful, unposed and posed moments with your new bundle of joy, mom and dad. If there are siblings, they are welcome to be included in this session. We'll use simple wraps, and natural poses to create timeless, more natural images of your new family life, rather than heavily posed, prop-focused shots. This session is more laid back and does not include posed photos of the baby alone in props. This session is more focused on the family interaction with your new baby. It is best to schedule while the baby is under the age of 3 weeks old. This session is done in the scene pictured with the bed. The family is posed in or next to the bed. Given the size and complexity of the scene props, all family photos for this session are done in this scene only. If you would like posed images of the baby alone in props as pictured in standard newborn sessions, please let me know, as you can add that on for an additional charge. This Newborn Session is up to 1 1/2 hours long and includes 15 edited images. This session includes the baby, mom, dad, and siblings. Young children MUST be supervised during the session. I always recommend giving a call to discuss the session details. I also suggest holding your session at least 3 months in advance.. I do take last minute bookings as well. Retainers are Non-Refundable. Retainers for newborn sessions can ONLY be used for a rescheduled newborn session. Newborn Session retainers CAN'T be used for any other type of rescheduled session and within the timeframe a newborn session is obtainable. The retainer ONLY applies to a newborn session rescheduled within the newborn timeframe. It can't be used towards a family session, milestone session, holiday, cake smash or any other session. Should client cancel a newborn session and not reschedule the newborn session within 2 weeks, the retainer can't be used towards any future session. This is usually never an issue. But newborn sessions take A LOT of time out of the schedule. Newborn cancellations without a reschedule will not be able to apply that retainer to a future session. This is not applicable to early/late/NICU reschedules.
