About Mountaintop Photography
I grew up getting my picture taken constantly. My mom had every kind of camera that emerged in the 70's and 80's. If she wasn't making me pose in a new outfit in my front yard, she was folding down my lace trimmed socks , ever so perfectly, to bring me to get my "picture taken" by a professional. She made a huge deal of getting my pictures taken throughout my childhood. The tiniest occasion called for a photoshoot! I would say it was around 1986 when I had a photoshoot with one of my Cabbage Patch Dolls at the local department store! I am so happy I have those photos, because it just reminds me how nuts my mom was over me. My mom passed away in 2019 and I can't tell you how many photos I have that bring back so many memories. She LOVED that I pursued photography and I know she is always smiling down and loving every new scene I put together and every Facebook post I write. <3
As I grew up, I followed my mother, and snapped pictures of everything, even with my friends as a teenager. I always had the camera , documenting the good old days. I now have two boys of my own and they too , have had their picture taken for every occasion of their childhood and I will continue to make them nuts taking their photos for as long as I can! I spend my days working as an accountant and nights and weekends doing what I truly love, taking pictures of children and families. I also make time to spend with my family of course. I love to watch my boys play their favorite sport, football. I also get to watch all their go-pro videos of the tricks they do snowboarding and quad riding, and all things wild and crazy. My husband is the official "Prop Maker" who can really whip me up almost anything I ask him to build. Our precious Pug Matilda loves to greet everyone upon arrival. And if she is in the mood, she may even try to include herself in your family session. She is somewhat of a celebrity among clients!
I love nothing more than offering a wide array of possibilities for sessions. I enjoy creating new scenes in studio, and I love being outdoors for sessions as well. I love having this wide selection to chose from, and I am always looking to expand and explore. I look forward to meeting new clients and seeing all my repeat clients, who are like a little family to me. I can't wait to deliver my galleries and see clients gush over their photos. I am always looking to one up my last , the wheels are always turning! I aim to keep my sessions as affordable as possible while offering as much as possible....but most importantly, making the session as FUN as possible!
